Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy...

Constantly comparing ourselves to others is a grim reality of present times. We always find someone more accomplished than us. So, we end up feeling incompetent every time. Comparing your status to others often produces envy and unhappiness. With social media being a platform to flaunt out lives, high expectations to be earning a certain amount, to own the latest materials to look a certain way- it’s only inevitable that we fall into this trap of comparison. It inflicts feelings of self-hate, wastes time, deprives us of joy and basically, there is absolutely nothing to gain from self-comparison. Now you have to come to terms with how pointless it is to compare our lives with someone else's- it does kinda seem stupid, doesn't it? Friendship is one of the most precious gifts of life. It makes life enjoyable. It is both good and necessary. One can’t live all alone. He needs someone to share his joys and sorrows. Generally, friends are of the same age, mentality, similar interests, etc., who understand you and your problems. Friends are needed for support and sharing. Friendship is like an elixir which is essential for a happy life. A quality friendship makes your life enticing. Most of the time, people choose the wrong friends and end up feeling angry and bitter about it. Quality friends are very much difficult to find.
